To be fair to the general public, there is a lot of false information about fitness out there these days, making it hard for people to know what to believe. What's more, a lot of people are looking for a quick fix when it comes to fitness. Please don't fall for it. There is no quick fix for staying fit. You will eventually fall short if you refuse to accept that. Everyone would be in shape if fitness was as simple as many shape-up books and advertisements claim it to be. Our exercise program should incorporate all four aspects of fitness for maximum effectiveness, but many do not. Running strengthens the cardiovascular system, powerlifting builds strength, and stretching improves flexibility, but these activities generally, overlook the rest. We can make up for this deficit by combining various forms of exercise over the course of a week. Alternatively, we could combine several parts into a single routine.
The closest thing to hitting all four elements and providing complete fitness in a single session is resistance training done in a circuit-like format with progressive loads and exercises that utilize the full scope of movement. Albeit excessive, it is an extraordinary method for achieving more significantly quicker.
